Step 1 - Open up Outlook Step 2 - Go to the top menubar and press Tools. This will drop down a submenu of which you need to choose E-mail Accounts. A window will pop-up allowing you to edit your accounts.
Step 3 - Select "Add a new e-mail account" and click the NEXT button.
Step 4 - Select "POP3" as the Server Type and click the NEXT button.
Step 5 - Type in your name and e-mail address in the User Information. Type your e-mail address and password in the Logon Information.The incoming mail server should be in the format "mail.yourdomain.com". The outgoing mail server should be in the "mail.yourdomain.com" syntax as well. NOTE - Some ISP's (Internet Service Providers), such as Earthlink and COX are blocking users from accessing port 25 (SMTP port). They have chosen to do this to cut down on the amount of spam resulting from their network. You will need to set your SMTP settings to those of your ISP's if your ISP implements such restrictions. They can provide the settings for you to send email via their SMTP server. NOTE TO MACINTOSH USERS - The syntax for your account name should be yourname%yourdomain.com, replacing the "@" symbol with the "%" symbol.
Step 6 - Click Finish. You're done! Click "Send and Receive" to download your mail.
